Travel Fee: $97.00 / hour
Non-Labour Travel Costs: $1.00 / km
Non-Face-To-Face Support
$193.99 / hour
Your therapist may complete additional work outside of sessions to support your child’s goals. This may include:
- Communication – with you, or other important members of your child’s team (educators, other Allied Health Providers)
- Resources creation
- Research for your child’s goals
This work is billed in 10-minute increments at our standard hourly rate.
Medicare
Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) – Formally EPC
- Rebate: $61.80 per session under item number 10958
- Eligibility: must be referred by GP and have a chronic condition.
Discuss with your GP to see if your child is eligible for this plan. Medicare CDM rebate for a maximum of five allied-health services per patient each calendar year from eligible providers.
Helping Children with Autism Plan
- Rebate: $75.95
- Eligibility: your child must have a diagnosis of Autism.
Under the Helping Children with Autism program, a child can be referred by a Pediatrician or Psychiatrist for the following allied health services:
Up to 20 treatment services from psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, audiologists, optometrists, orthoptists or physiotherapists (for a child under 15 years of age, providing a treatment and management plan is in place before their 13th birthday)
Please note, this plan is a ‘once-off’ plan and is only used once in a child’s lifetime.
